**As of March 14, 2025 , this project has been awarded to Brooks Building Group Inc., awarded amount not available.** The Floyd County Board of Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids for the purpose of the construction of a new corporate aircraft suitable storage hangar, including associated sitework improvements. The proposed prefabricated metal building consists of a large hangar bay with restroom, as well as a lean-to structure shell for future office space. The sitework generally consists of minor grading, bituminous pavement construction, bituminous pavement overlay and transitions, pavement marking, utility connections, and site restoration, as well as installation and maintenance of erosion control measures. The Bid has been structured as a Base Bid and an Alternate Bid. The Base Bid consists of an 80-foot deep by 84-foot wide by 30-foot tall hangar bay with a 80-foot deep by 30-foot wide by 14-foot tall lean-to structure. The Alternate Bid consists of a 90-foot deep by 130-foot wide by 30-foot tall hangar bay with a 80-foot deep by 30-foot wide by 14-foot tall lean-to structure. The proposed sitework improvements accommodate both building sizes. All forms, certifications and compliance documents required by Floyd County must accompany each bid.
