Renovation of a fire / police facility in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Renovations to Myrtle Beach Law Enforcement Center/Clerk of Courts Project Location: Law Enforcement Center, 1101 North Oak Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 Remove/replace Level 3 bullet resistant frame/glazing system, new millwork to meet ADA standards, new ceiling/lighting. Demo/install carpet, lighting, blinds, paint, electrical, doors. 1. The project includes removal of the existing glazing system at the Law Enforcement Service Counter and replacing it with a new Level 3 bullet resistant frame and glazing system. The new system will include stainless steel deal trays and a package pass. A portion of the existing service desk will be removed and replaced with new millwork meeting ADA requirements. Level 3 bullet resistant panels will be installed on the face of the existing counter and new millwork. The existing plastic grid ceiling is to be removed and replaced with a gyp. bd. ceiling with new lighting. 2. The project includes demolition and renovations to the Clerk of Court area. Renovations include installation of new carpet tiles, rubber, base, new lighting, new blinds, painting, new electrical work, new doors and a level 3 bullet resistant frame and glazing system.
