Renovation of a water / sewer project in West Lebanon, New Hampshire. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project involves funding improvements at the Lebanon Wastewater Treatment Plant to increase the volume of holding by construction of a second tank and supply a second unloading setup to allow multiple trucks to dump at a time. The improvements are needed as a result of a significant increase in recent years in septage received at the Wastewater Treatment Plant for processing and treatment. An all-time high volume of just short of 3 million gallons was received in 2022 where as the current receiving station was designed and in the 1990's with the intention to receive only a couple thousand gallons per week as a maximum. As of January 14, 2025, this project is included in the city's 2024-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Information regarding a design firm and a timeline for construction has not yet been established yet. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
