The City of Grand Island Parks & Recreation Department - Parks Division is seeking proposals for the removal and disposal of existing ball field lights located in Pier Park. The City of Grand Island Parks & Recreation Department - Parks Division is seeking proposals for the removal and disposal of existing ball field lights located in Pier Park. Work includes removing select poles and lights, cutting select poles, installing new utility box and restoration. This work will be performed at Pier Park, 500 S Oak St., Grand Island, Nebraska. o Removal and disposal of nine light poles per attached site map. o Removal and disposal of 14 sets of lights per attached site map. (R) Cut five (5) poles per attached site map, height TBD. Dispose of cuttings. o Install new flush mounted electrical junction utility box for security lighting with size and location TBD. (R) Fill holes and restore effected Park areas to owners satisfaction. No bidder may withdraw its Request for Proposals for a period of ninety days (90) after date of bid opening. *The Purchaser reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive technicalities, and to accept whichever proposal that may be in the best interest of the City, at its sole discretion.
