Renovation of a mixed-use development in Tallahassee, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
DESCRIPTION: The project consists of replacing the existing natural gas steam boilers at the Collins Building and replacing them with new Natural Gas Hot Water Boilers. It will include demolition and removal of the existing steam boilers, related work to controls, electrical work, piping, pumps, flues and hydronic equipment to support the new boilers. BID PACKAGES BIDDING: 2A Selective Demolition 22A Plumbing 23A Mechanical (includes Integrated Automation) 26A Electrical 32A Site Improvements Bidders who have not been under contract with CBI within the past 12 months are required to prequalify for this project. Prequalification forms are on our website; with completed forms due to the Project Manager no later than EOD January 7th, 2025. BONDS: All bids of $100,000 or more require a 5% Bid Bond or Cashier's Check. All contracts of $100,000 or more will require a Performance & Payment Bond. Addendum #1 has been issued as of 1-16-2025.
