Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Manteo, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 8,405-square-foot fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; medical facility; medical facility; 54,000-square-foot municipal facility; and municipal facility.
**As of March 3, 2025 project not yet awarded.** Dare County Phase III New Construction Dare County is planning to construct a new Public Works complex located on 1018 Driftwood Drive, Manteo and 47027 Buxton Back Road, Buxton. A new Sheriff's department evidence storage facility located on Driftwood Drive ,Manteo. And, a newEMS station located at 105West Seachase Drive, NagsHead. The Manteo complex will be approximately 54,000 sqft and consist of six new facilities. The Buxton transfer station will be a remodel of the existing space. The EMS station will be approximately 8,405 sqft. The Sheriff's evidence facility will be approximately 8,000 sqft. Dare County reserves the right to reject and any all submissions in accordance with NC General Statutes. Questions pertaining to this Request for Qualification shall be prepared in writing and submitted by email only to Tim Oakley (toakley@oakleycollier.com) or John Hamm (jhamm@oakleycollier.com) by no later than 3PM January 10th , 2025. Responses will be issued by Oakley Collier Architects in the form of an Addendum to all respondents.
