Replacement Roof Fort Raleigh Visitor Center, Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Fort Raleigh National Historic Site, Manteo, North Carolina 27954 PROJECT TITLE: Replacement Roof Fort Raleigh Visitor Center SITE LOCATION: Visitor Center, Fort Raleigh National Historic Site, 1500 Fort Raleigh Road, Manteo, NC 27954 The Work consists of the following: The National Park Service (NPS) Cape Hatteras National Seashore (CAHA) has a requirement to replace roof on the Fort Raleigh Visitor Center and remove and reinstall the Solar Panels and all associated mounts and wiring. The roof is approximately 8800 sq. ft. hip roof with a 10x10 skylight at the peak. There are 3 separate locations with gutter and downspouts that are also to be replaced. This work will include the replacement of the existing asphalt shingle roof with new architectural asphalt high wind shingle roofing system that is rated for up to 150 mph winds and replace gutters and downspouts with new commercial grade gutter systems. Reinstall Solar Array using Kinetic Solar Racking and Mounting system or approved equivalent. The Contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 360 calendar days Estimated Price Range: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00. Period of Performance: 08/18/2025 to 08/17/2026 In accordance per FAR Part 28, performance and payment bonds are required at 100% of the contract price and must be submitted within 10 calendar days of receipt of the award. A certificate of insurance is required, and coverage must be at a minimum of: $100,000 per person; $500,000 per occurrence; and $1,000,000 per property and must be submitted within 10 calendar days of receipt of the award. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
