Bids will be received for the following Contract: Contract No. 1 - General Rehabilitation - Base Bid 501 Gouverneur Street, Morristown, N.Y. 13664 - Scope of Work Items - Furnish and Install various rehabilitation materials and labor to include: New smoke & carbon monoxide detectors per code, Misc. Lead Rehab per LBP Risk Assessment, Repair or Replace Roof Vent Boot, Twenty-Two (22) new vinyl replacement windows, Three (3) New Exterior Doors & Three (3) Storm Doors. (LBP Item). The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to lead certifications. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids. Bid Solicitations and Contract Documents are provided by the Development Authority of the North Country as part of the Authority's due diligence in its role as the NYS CDBG Sub Recipient for St. Lawrence County. St, Lawrence County is the recipient of the New York State CDBG Grant funding. The Development Authority staff, will review all bids submitted for completeness. The Development Authority will make recommendation to the homeowner on the lowest responsible bidder. The Rehabilitation Contract will be between the Homeowner and the Contractor. MWBEs and Section 3 contractors are encouraged to apply. The contractor will ensure that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this NYS CDBG-assisted project will be extended to lower-income project area residents.
