** As of 1/2/2025 project has been awarded to Stoppel Dirt Inc. with $217,436.78 .** Location one: sewer line that runs through the pasture on the north side of Locust and the west side of Aggie, running through the South Plains Apartments going west stopping at manhole 32 where the new previously placed line begins. o Approximately 1173 feet of 12inch SDR sewer line north side of Locust running through the South Plains Apartments. o Replace 4 manholes and add an additional manhole where the new line ties in with the existing line. o Manholes to be ground grade or slightly higher. o Replace all existing taps possibly 1+. o Sewer line to be sand bedded. o All concrete in South Plains Apartments will need to be replaced. o Proof of bonding and insurance is to be included with your bid. Funding for this project shall be from the Oklahoma Economic Development Authority, REAP Grant Program and the American Recovery Plan Act Grant Program. All laws and regulations applicable to the state projects shall apply. The Town of Goodwell reserves the right to reject any and all bids. For the purposes of your bid, do not include any local or state sales tax. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. The Project, of which the Work under the Contract Documents is a part, is generally described as follows: replace existing sewer main with 12" sewer pipe. Project includes excavating, grading, installing sewer pipe manhole construction, connection to manholes, backfill & compaction, pavement removal & replacement, manhole removed. The Town of Goodwell will appoint the successful bidder, its agent for the purpose of receiving tax exempt status on the purchase of materials for this contract only.
