Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Morocco, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The project is a multi-phase, two-part project. The first part consists of a new 7,520 sq.ft. facility to house the county's 911, EMA, EMS, and Coroner offices, located north of Morocco, Indiana. The second part consists of infrastructure work for public safety communications at two sites, one east of Lake Village, Indiana, and the other west of Brook, Indiana The following packages are being bid at this time: Newton County Public Safety Facility: Newton County Public Safety Communication Infrastructure Project: (Tower Sites) Trade Package 26: Electrical Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond made payable to the Owner, in a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the highest aggregate proposal, which check or bond will be held by the Owner as evidence that the bidder will, if awarded the contract, enter into the same with the Owner upon notification from him to do so within ten (10) days of said notification. Should a successful bidder withdraw his bid, or fail to execute a satisfactory Contract, the Owner may then declare the bid deposit of bond or check forfeited as liquidated damages but not as a penalty Electrical.
