The project consists of 2 inch mill and fills, full depth overlay, road striping, sidewalk, curb ramps, gravel road edge, and other appurtenances wholly within the Town of Morocco. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis. Two copies of the sealed bids bearing the project name as well as the name and address of the bidder must be submitted. A certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid is required with each bid as security for proper execution of the contract. A 100% labor, material, and performance bond will be required from the successful bidder. Bidders must submit Indiana State Form 96 and be certified to do work in the State of Indiana. Additional bidding requirements are included in the instructions to bidders. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the scheduled opening without consent of the owner. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality in bidding, or accept the bid that best serves the interest of the owner.
