Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Allegan, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Mahan Park improvements project includes removal of concrete walks, concrete curb, gazebo structure, and vegetation. Salvage brick pavers for re-use. Install plain concrete walks and concrete seating area; concrete curb, colored, exposed aggregate concrete, and salvaged brick pavers. New Amphitheatre structure, with site lighting, and new plant beds with shrubs, perennials and ornamental grasses and turf restoration. A certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the City of Allegan will be required with each bid as security for the proper execution of the contract. A 100% Labor, Material, and Performance Bond will be required of the successful bidder. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bids, waive any informality in bidding, or accept the bid, consistent with law, which best serves the interest of the Owner.
