Site work for a mixed-use development in Salters, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a detention facility; and pipeline.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial installation of an item in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. All potential offerors must complete an onsite in-depth assessment followed by quote submission. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution-Williamsburg, Salters, South Carolina intends to issue solicitation 15B31625Q00000004 for the requirements of: Installation of new Natural Gas Line. The announcement will close on 3 January 2025. All potential offerors interested must request a date for an onsite evaluation to be conducted starting 16 December 2024 through 10 January 2025. Final submission of bids must be received by 17 January 2025. Work will be completed at the Federal Correctional Institution, 8301 Hwy 521, Salters, SC 29590. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be posted to the System for Award Management (SAM) https://sam.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. As of October 2012, all vendors participating shall be registered and active status in the SAM website, https://sam.gov. All potential offerors are advised that this solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-4 (June 2010) for commercial items. Offerors should include their Company Name, Phone Number, Point of Contact, and Unique Entity ID (UEI) number in their offers. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). All invoices must be submitted via mail to P.O. Box 220, Salters, SC 29590. The only format by which questions will be answered will be by e-mail, WIL-Contracting-S@bop.gov This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for the installation of a gas line at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Williamsburg. The project involves the installation of an appropriately sized gas line from Dominion Energy's connection point at the front entrance of FCI Williamsburg's property along Highway 521, extending approximately 5,500 feet to the powerhouse. Scope of Work Gas Line Installation: Install an appropriately sized gas line spanning approximately 5,500 feet from Dominion Energy's connection point at the front entrance of FCI Williamsburg along Highway 521 to the powerhouse. Ensure the gas line is capable of supporting the operation of three existing boilers at the powerhouse. Connection must be made to current boilers Isolate all other piping to ensure the rest of the powerhouse runs from the original gas line. Coordination with Dominion Energy: Coordinate with Dominion Energy to ensure the connection at the highway is properly established. Dominion Energy will install the meter and make the connection to their line. Compliance: The installation must meet all relevant codes and specifications, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Work must be completed by 15 March 2025. Onsite inspection required prior to receiving bid Price and Past Performance will be evaluated for overall best value
