Site work and new construction of a civil project in Eudora, Kansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Eudora is seeking qualifications from Design-Build teams to design and construct a new water treatment plant and a new 300,000 gallon water tower, including rerouting water well supply lines and installing new water mains. The City plans to select a qualified Design-Build Team to define scope, develop design documents, estimate costs, evaluate means and methods, sequence construction, schedule, and construct improvements. Following the completion of the scope definition and concept design, the City expects to negotiate a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) contract with the Design-Build Team for construction improvements. The City will negotiate with the next highest Design-Build Team or conventionally bid the work if negotiations cannot be completed.
