**As of now March 28,2025 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award will be on the next week** The Project consists of renovation Town of Jay's existing park. This renovation project will include a community disaster relief building with concession on the lower level, two individual restroom facilities, a maintenance building, an emergency generator, a reorganization of playing fields for baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, basketball, and football. In addition, the project includes access roads, parking areas, fencing, site lighting, and a public amphitheater. Project is being jointly funded through grants from Florida Commerce CDBG-DR program, Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program, and Rural Infrastructure Fund and is subject to associated regulations for each funding source. Question Deadline 01/10/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing Bidding Documents may also be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available on compact disc (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a nonrefundable charge of $50, including shipping via overnight express service. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in person pickup or via mail, upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The nonrefundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $100 per set, payable to Dewberry, plus a non refundable shipping charge. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The project will be advertised on December 16, 2024, local time 10 a.m., at the Jay City Hall, 3695 Highway 4, Jay, FL 32565. Bids will be accepted only from Bidders prequalified by the Owner.
