**As of February 27, 2024, The Town received bids for the project which was bid in three separate packages: roof, interior and civil (parking lot), on January 19, 2024. Upon Issuing Offices receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidders delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The Town of Jay reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and if an award is made, will be made to the most responsible firm whose proposal indicates that the award will be in the best interest of the Town of Jay. The Town reserves the right to waive irregularities in the proposal. The Project consists of parking lot improvements, minor utility work, and a new digital sign for Jay City Hall. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The project will be advertised in the Pensacola News Journal on December 12, 2023.
