PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The renovation of the existing second floor office space to provide a firefighter dormitory with toilet rooms and relocation of the Township Trustee Office to the first floor. The Scope of Work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the conversion of existing second floor office space into a firefighter dormitory with toilet rooms and creating an office and conference room within the existing training room for the Township Trustee. SECOND FLOOR CONSTRUCTION - Convert the existing second floor office space into a single dormitory space with two toilet rooms with shower facilities. Modify existing hvac and electrical systems as required. Provide new supply plumbing systems to serve the new toilet rooms as well as new waste and vent piping tied into the existing building sanitary sewer system FIRST FLOOR CONSTRUCTION - Construct an office and conference room in the southeast corner of the existing training room. Modify existing hvac and electrical systems as required. Make minor modifications to the existing kitchen as indicated. The project consists of select renovations of the existing German Twp. FD Headquarters. The project shall be substantially complete by June 2, 2025. The project shall be 100% complete by June 23, 2025. The facility will be occupied by full-time staff starting on July 1, 2025.
