Sealed proposals for the 2025 Concrete and Asphalt Patching for Water & Sewer Repairs will be received by the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility, Evansville, Indiana at the Sunrise Pump Station, located at 1200 Waterworks Road, Evansville, Indiana 47708. The work for which bids are to be received consists of: The work includes the restoration of surfaces that are disturbed as the result of water and sewer repairs or operations. The surface types are primarily asphalt and concrete in traveled roadways but can include grass, gravel, landscaped or other. Work includes all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and traffic control required to complete the work, in place and ready for use. The nature of the required services is such that Bidder must have the ability to produce material and respond to the needed repairs on short notice throughout the calendar year. A written log of the repair notices will be sent by Owner on a daily basis (regular workdays). Public safety and the need to minimize disruptions along traveled roadways are priority and, unless waived by the Owner or as otherwise noted herein, all materials, equipment and workmanship shall comply with the standards, specifications, rules and regulations of the local and state governing agencies. Also, all restorations shall be completed within seven (7) working days after receiving notification from the Owner. If not completed within seven (7) working days, notification must be provided to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to set priority on repairs. If for any reason services and products cannot be supplied as needed and ordered, Owner reserves the right to make alternative arrangements. Bi-weekly documentation must be sent to the owner with updates on restorations. All work must be ready for satisfactory and continuous operation, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. The above referenced project description includes items that are part of the Itemized Base Bid. The Contractor shall be responsible for all work shown on the plans and described in the specifications pertaining to the Itemized Base Bid, regardless of the installation method chosen. The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder (or bidders), all to the advantage of the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility, or to reject all Proposals.
