Demolition, site work, remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.

Project Description: This project will demolish existing cantilever-style, sliding ornamental gate with crash beam at the facility entrance in its entirety, including gate operator and all foundations, power and communication connections must remain; provide and install approximately 40 LF of 8’-high ornamental black coated, galvanized steel fencing and posts conforming to ASTM F2408, ASTM F2814, UFGS 32 31 13.53 “High-Security Fences (Chain Link and Ornamental) and Gates”; UFC 4-022-03 Security Fences and Gates; Drawings UFC-705, UFC-713, UFC-720, UFC-721 and UFC-722, in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions; provide and install 8” bollards in all areas not protected by cable reinforcing in accordance with the UFC; provide and install 4,000 PSI concrete to anchor posts and bollards in the ground; provide and install a crash beam assembly as listed on the current edition (September 2022 or newer) of the “DoD Anti-Ram Vehicle Barrier List” published by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Protective Design Center; provide clean-up, removal, and disposal of all debris associated with the work. The sliding ornamental fence and the crash beam must be connected so that both components function as a complete system. In addition, the existing manually operated pedestrian swing chain-link gate will be demolished and replaced with a CAC/PIN activated turnstile. The Navy Marine Corps Reserve Center (NMCRC) perimeter must remain secure at all times and be maintained throughout the construction process. Prior to construction, contractor must verify, locate and maintain all underground utilities within the work area and 10-feet beyond. But not limited to please review the specifications for more information. Prevailing Wages Apply.
