The project will go out for bid in July 2025, Board of Education approval of the construction contract in August 2025, submittal review and equipment procurement in September 2025. Centennial Elementary RTU Replacement 1. Location: 1400 37th St, Evans, CO 80620 2. The Facility: Centennial Elementary was constructed in 1975. Renovations and additions occurred in 1980, 2010 and 2024. The current building area (excluding modular buildings) is 44,500 SF. 3. Project Scope: Provide design documents to replace twenty-seven (27) Carrier rooftop units like-for-like. Refer to attached RTU schedule for units in scope. Additionally, replace one (1) Reznor Heating & Ventilation unit with a Carrier rooftop unit with gas-fired heating and DX cooling. Renumber rooftop units as shown on the attached schedule. Coordinate RTU numbering with fire alarm system and fire map as required. 4. Budget: The projected construction budget is $1,000,000. D6 Online Academy HVAC Replacement 1. Location: 1113 10th Ave, Greeley, CO 80631 2. The Facility: District 6 Online Academy is a 5,380 SF facility that was built in 1965. The building houses staff and students that are part of the online program. The HVAC system consists of a residential-style furnace and rooftop mounted condensing unit with blower assembly that provide heating and cooling through under-slab supply ductwork and overhead return ductwork. Lay-in ceiling exists throughout. 3. Project Scope: Base Scope Provide design documents to replace the HVAC system with new overhead supply and return ductwork. HVAC system type may be furnace/DX or a fan coil unit, depending on layout and required clearances. Refer to attached floor plan showing mechanical room on the west end. Alternate Scope (If selected, takes the place of Base Scope) Provide design documents for the like-for-like replacement of the existing furnace/DX system. Include cleaning of under-slab and overhead ductwork in scope. 4. Budget: The projected construction budget for the base scope is $400,000, and the projected construction budget for the alternate scope is $65,000. The District reserves the right to accept or reject, any or all submittals, and select the D/B/B team that is deemed to be in the Owner's best interest.
