As of April 17, 2025, this project is in the design phase. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. Engineering Service Green Bay - 9th St to 14th St - STP Urban The City of La Crosse is seeking to select an Engineering Firm to enter into a two-party agreement for a STP-Urban Project under State/Municipal Agreement for Highway Improvement Projects. The project is a 2-party agreement with the City to prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for 0.41 miles of Green Bay Street, from 9th Street S to 14th Street S. Design services are funded 100% by the City. Construction will be funded 80/20 with the State of Wisconsin DOT, as part of the Federal STP-Urban program. Therefore, design work is subject to all pertinent program requirements. A Firm must understand and be able to meet the requirements of the STP-Urban Program is a critical component of this project and large portion of the selection criteria being evaluated. The goal is to meet the DOT letting deadline of February 8, 2028. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
