PROJECT INCLUDES the development of a new aquatic facility with associated site improvements at theRandolph Village Park. Their existing aquatics facility that was at same site has been removed as part of adifferent project. The new aquatics facility includes an interconnected concrete children s pool, recreationalpool, along with other aquatic features/amenities/equipment. The project includes a bath house/poolequipment Building. The building has concrete foundations, masonry walls and sloped wood roof trusses. Siteamenities include, but not limited to concrete sidewalks, asphalt parking lot. Other site items included but notlimited to, excavation, erosion control, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water lines, irrigation, fencing, landscaping,and concrete curb and gutter No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid,payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the propercontract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The bid bond will be returned to the bidder assoon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the bid bond shall be forfeitedto the OWNER as liquidated damages.Performance and Payment Bonds for the full contract amount shall be required from the successful Bidder.Prequalification of bidders will not be required. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner reserves theright to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept anyproposal which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
