Cane Creek Guardrail Replacement The Project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete and operable installation of Replacement of three (3) sections of 8"x8"x12' wooden guardrail and support columns at the Cane Creek Reservoir off Stanford Rd and NC Hwy 54. The total approximate length of existing guardrail is 730 linear feet. Work includes the removal and disposal of the existing guardrail and columns. Additionally, the work includes the replacement of approximately 640 linear feet of 3/4" thick twisted manila rope used to cordon off restricted areas. Work includes removal and disposal of the exiting twisted manila rope. The foregoing description shall not be construed as a complete description of all work required. Orange Water and Sewer Authority has adopted a minimum ten (10%) percent goal for participation by minority businesses in the total value of the work for this project in accordance with Section 143-128.2 of the General Statutes of North Carolina. Orange Water and Sewer Authority requires the Project to be at Final Completion 45 consecutive calendar days from date of Notice to Proceed Bids shall be submitted under a condition of irrevocability, except as required by law, for a period of or 90 calendar days after the Bid opening. Orange Water and Sewer Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive any and all informalities, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional Bids or counter Bids, and to accept the Bid that will be in the best interest of Orange Water and Sewer Authority.
