Renovation of an educational facility in Lowville, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The project includes a General Construction Contract to perform the work associated with the replacement of flood damaged casework at the Main Building for Lowville Academy & Central School. The Board of Education, above named, reserves the right to waive any and all informalities and irregularities and reject any or all Bids. BID SECURITY Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified Check payable to Lowville Academy & Central School in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Proposal. Bid Bonds shall be a fully executed AIA Document A310 (copy attached), or equivalent Bid Bond. PERFORMANCE BOND AND LABOR AND MATERIAL PAYMENT BOND The successful Contractor shall deliver to the Owner prior to the execution of the Contract, Bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract, and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount with such sureties secured through the Bidder's usual sources as may be agreeable to the parties. The premiums for such Bonds shall be paid by the Contractor. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and attached wage rates schedule to be paid under this Contract. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within forty-five (45) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The Board of Education further reserves its right to disqualify Bidders for any material failure to comply with the "Instructions to Bidders". Submit all questions about the Bid Documents to MARCH Associates VIA Email to the following address: submittals@marchassoc.com at least 5 days prior to date for receipt of Bids. ADDENDA Prior to the receipt of Bids, Addenda will be emailed to each Bidder of record and to locations where Bidding Documents have been placed on file. AWARD The Contract will be awarded on the basis of the lowest bid and most responsible Bidder REJECTION OF BIDS The Bidder acknowledges the right of the Owner to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid received. In addition, the Bidder recognizes the right of the Owner to reject a Bid if the Bidder failed to furnish any required Bid security, or to submit the data required by the Bidding Documents, or if the Bid is in any way incomplete or irregular.
