Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Santa Barbara, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Patching, routing/crack fill, slurry (Type II), sweeping and re-striping of the Harbor Main Lot Vehicle Lane and 6" Remove and Replace of new hot mix asphalt pavement at defined areas of the Leadbetter Bike Path. Bid Bond 0.00% Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% Pre-Bid Meeting No Question Deadline 01/10/2025 at 5:00 PM PT Questions and answersshall be submitted through the Citys portal In accordance with Civil Code 9550, if the bid exceeds $25,000, the Successful Bidder shall furnish within ten (10) consecutive calendar days after written Notice of Award, a Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid as well as a separate Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid total. Start/Delivery Date Project shall be completed by April 30, 2025. This project involves patching, routing/crack fill, slurry (Type II), sweeping and re-striping of the Harbor Main Lot Vehicle Lane and 6" Remove and Replace of new hot mix asphalt pavement at defined areas of the Leadbetter Bike Path. The City of Santa Barbara Municipal Code Title 16 prohibits the discharge of any pollutants into the storm water system. The following procedures are intended to implement Title 16 on all construction projects. See Appendix A. 5.2 SCOPE OF WORK MAIN LOT VEHICLE LANE AREA This project involves patching, routing/crack fill, slurry (Type II), sweeping and re-striping of the Harbor Main Lot Vehicle Lane. The striping shall be like-for-like Thermo-plastic material. There will be no ground disturbance for this project and the total area is 42,728 SF (See Appendices B, C, and D). All work shall be done in accordance with the California Building Code 2022 and 2010 ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) striping, symbols, text (11b-502.2) and signage (11b-502.6.3 & 11b-502.8.2). Please note that the parking lot will be open during this project therefore it should be phased appropriately. The contractor is responsible for all traffic control associated with maintaining access to, from, and through the lot during construction. The contractor is responsible for blocking traffic through each phase work area. Each phase of the project includes posting no parking signs two weeks in advance of the work, coordinating with Waterfront Parking to have any remaining cars relocated from the work area. 'No Parking' signs with date of work shall be a minimum 3'x2' and mounted on A-frame traffic standards. Signs shall be posted at the entrance to work area 2 weeks prior to start date and during construction. Work area boundaries shall be delineated and blockaded by 'No Parking' signs with date of work and shall be a minimum of 11x17 card stock and mounted on traffic barricades (See Appendix E). Phase 1 must be completed in full and re-opened prior to closing of the Phase 2 area. It is anticipated that each phase will last approximately 10 working days. PHASE AREAS: See Appendix B Phase 1 Area - 22,237 Sq.Ft. Phase 2 Area - 20,491 Sq.Ft.
