Reference number: 20038638 Questions Due Date: Feb 6th 2025, 3:00 PM EST In order to accommodate growth in the international and domestic sectors by the time the terminal expansion program is fully delivered, and to maintain optimum customer service levels to IATA standards, the project proposes to extend the terminal building eastwards, widening the domestic pier and aligning the façade with that of the existing terminal. The building represents a rectangle measuring approximately 58 m by 90 m on levels 1, 2 and 3. A level 4 may be added, depending on the current programming review. Level 0 will be reserved for a baggage storage system (EBS) and the building's technical needs. The project is located in the restricted zone, and is highly complex in terms of programming, multidisciplinarity and phasing, all of which are required to maintain uninterrupted airside and terminal operations. A great deal of preparatory work is required to achieve the main objective of the project, namely the expansion of the baggage hall. Demolition, redevelopment and new construction are required. Passenger and worker safety must be maintained throughout the project, and will require a number of temporary accommodations during construction.
