The Province requests bids for the supply and delivery of a portable stage for Fogo Island Central Academy, located in Fogo Island, NL. SPECIFICATIONS 2. Stage platform specifications: a. Overall allowable dimensions (when fully assembled and with legs attached): 16-20 feet long x 24-28 feet wide x 32-34 inches high. b. Individual platforms must be easily connected and locked for safety c. Can be reconfigured for use as a stage, riser or runway d. Rated for at least 250 pound/square foot live load e. Lightweight for portability f. Minimum 3/4" thick plywood deck with anodized frame that goes around the platform top and bottom g. Includes at least six (6) removable, interchangeable, and adjustable legs. Each leg is to be at least 2 inches square h. Black platform top (not carpeted) that is scuff, skid and weather resistant i. Platform and legs must be able to be stored compactly in a storage cart 3. Specifications for Accessories (all accessories must be compatible with stage platform quoted): a. 3-Step Stairway - Quantity: Two (2) ii Measures 36 inches wide x 32 inches high (to match stage height) i Steel construction, powder coated black iii With hand rails b. Double Guard Rail i Steel construction, powder coated black ii Attaches to assembled stage, includes integrated chair stop iii Total length of 24 feet, but must be able to be broken down into sections for storage. c. Portable Storage Cart i Steel construction, powder coated black ii Measures approximately 25 inches x 105 inches iii Must be compatible with stage platform and be able to accommodate all above items when broken down for transport iv Has at least four (4) castors, including at least two (2) swiveling castors. Castors to be non-marking v Cart includes a restraint to hold stage components in place during transport d. Stage Skirting i Pleated stage skirting with 2" pleats ii Skirting to match height of platform iii Must cover at least three (3) sides of the stage iv Must be flame resistant, minimum 11oz 100% polyester v Can be attached to the stage with velcro vi Colour: black 4. Bidders MUST include in their bid package: a. Product literature/specifications for all items being quoted, to confirm compliance with the above specifications. b.
