This Invitation to Bid is to establish standing contracts for the performance of light construction services at Boise State University's Boise, Idaho campus and associated properties as needed. These preventative maintenance services, as defined by Idaho State Statute 67-5710B, are for corrective repairs or replacements within existing state-owned, or state-operated facilities, and result from its determination that wear, tear, and/or changes are anticipated, and continuous corrective actions are required to ensure peak efficiency and to minimize deterioration. Bid proposals are to remain valid for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled closing date. Proposals submitted with a validity period of less than this will be found unresponsive and will not be considered. BSU reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal as it deems to best serve its convenience and/or is found to be in the best interest of the university. Boise State University reserves the right to issue contracts to multiple contractors Initial Term of the Contract shall be for a period of twelve (12) months. Following the Initial Term, the parties may extend the Contract on an annual basis, upon mutual written consent, for up to 4 additional one (1) year terms.
