Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Great Neck, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project will consist of two Single Prime Contracts. The other Single Prime Contract SC-1 is for the reconstruction of the Parking Lot and all associated work. The bid deposit for hard copies will be returned upon receipt of plans and specifications, in good condition, within thirty days after bid date, except for the lowest responsible bidder, whose check will be forfeited upon the award of the contract. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder or the proposals will be rejected within 45 days of the date of opening proposals. Bids shall be subject, however, to the discretionary right reserved by the School District to waive any informalities in, accept or reject any alternatives, reject any proposals and to advertise for new proposals, if in its opinion the best interest of the School District will thereby be promoted. Budget: $700,000 Question Deadline 01/10/2025 No oral interpretations, instructions, or explanation of the bid documents will be given prior to the opening of the bids. Discrepancies, ambiguities, or doubts as to the intent of the bidding document should be communicated to the Architect in writing for interpretation. B. Interpretations, clarifications, or corrections will be made in the form of addenda forwarded to each bidder at the address furnished by each bidder and receipt acknowledged on the form of proposal.
