Renovation of a road / highway in Tucson, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway.
The proposed work is located in the City of Tucson city limits. The work under this project includes milling, pavement preparation, and paving of residential streets for the locations . The proposed work is in the Mortimore Addition, Kino Block Plat, Desert Shadows, Desert View, and Los Ranchitos neighborhoods. Proposed work is to be completed within 150 consecutive calendar days. RAMP AND SIDEWALK NOTES o The City expects that the Contractor will have some flexibility in the layout of the ramps using City and PAG ramp details, provided that federal ADA standards are met. o Sidewalks are to be constructed to PROWAG Standards; City or PAG standard details may be used, as applicable. o No changes or modifications shall be made by the contractor without approval of a City representative. o The removal of sidewalk and curb ramps is included in Item 2020001 Removal of Structures and Obstructions. Plans with the locations of sidewalk and curb ramp removals will not be provided. Field adjustments are anticipated. See General Requirements note number 19 Removal of Structures and Obstructions. SPEED HUMP & TABLES NOTES Surface treatment shall include the speed humps and tables with new striping and raised pavement markings per Detail 220 (included in Appendix C). Speed tables and speed humps shall receive the PAG 2-LV, as a non-RAP mixture with PG70-10 binder.
