Renovation of a municipal facility in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Town of Nantucket, through its Department of Public Works, seeks qualified bidders to submit proposals for the removal and replacement of two electric overhead garage doors in the main crew garage (Building A) at the Department of Public Works. Estimated Cost $35,000 Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Remove and replace two (2) existing electric overhead garage doors at the Nantucket Department of Public Works. This project includes the removal and replacement of existing rails, hardware, and Commercial Drawbar Operator o Doors shall be 16' 2" x 12' 1". o Replacement doors should be insulated thermacore commercial sectional doors. o One (1) Row of Glass 25x12 DTA. o Model "RSX" 115/1PH/1/2HP Commercial Drawbar Operator (or similar); Include one (1) remote, wall control and photo sensors. o Doors are located on the south side of Building A at the Department of Public Works. o Door frame and panels are to be powder coated. Current color is white - with replacement doors to match existing color. Contractor shall coordinate with the Public Works Deputy Director or their designee to confirm color.
