Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
In general, the project consists of a structure rehabilitation to strengthen the existing pier on Structure P-36-0069. The work would consist of doweling into the existing columns and cap near each face and placing concrete between the existing pier columns. A single prime bid will be received for the work. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of time as specified in the Wis. Dept. of Transportation Standard Specifications. Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the Work and fails to execute the Contract and furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. Bidders shall be experienced in this type of work and be prequalified with the Wis.. Dept. of Transportation for work in the class and amount of their bid, or shall complete the Statement of Bidder's Qualifications bound with the proposal. The Statement of Bidder's Qualifications, if completed, shall be returned with the proposal. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in any bid.
