Remove and replace carpet in the mary alley municipal office building Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Mary Alley Building Carpet Replacement 1.Remove and dispose of old carpet and cove base shown on plan 2. Prep floor as needed to install new carpet squares 3. provide and install glue down carpet square refer to floor plan 4. provide and install 4" cove base refer to floor plan Disposal of carpet provided by Town of Marblehead Contractor responsible to transport carpet to Marblehead transfer station Contractor to supply premium commercial carpet squares color to be approved by Town of Marblehead . (Mohawk Aladdin Commercial or equivalent) Contractor to supply low VOC glue Contractor to supply 4" cove base and glue color to be approved by the Town of Marblehead. Contractor responsible for damage to walls due to carpet install Contractor responsible to provide temporary plastic walls and ventilation as needed. Contractor responsible to move any and all office furniture to install carpet and cove base. Contractor must provide proper Insurance to the Town of Marblehead Please note this is a prevailing wage Job acting through its Select Board, will receive sealed bids for the Mary Alley Office Building carpet project. The Work of this Contract shall generally include remove and replace carpet in Mary Alley Municipal Office building as more fully described in the Instructions to Bidders. The work is located in Mary Alley Municipal Office Building 7 Widger Road Marblehead. The work shall consist of - see specifications and floor plan attached 2.2 The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals for completing the work as specified or reasonably implied by trade practice, as determined by the Owner. 2.3 The OWNER reserves the right to eliminate elements of the work or parts of sections, as may be determined by them as a basis of award, to keep within the limits of available funds, and/or add to sections of the work previously eliminated. The work shall start on as soon as possible and be completed within 45 days of the date indicated on the Notice to Proceed in the Agreement Section of the Contract, and proceed on a continuous basis as needed until complete, unless directed otherwise by OWNER.
