Street paving improvements to serve w 6th street. In general, the work consists of concrete paving approximately _16,806__ square feet of W 6 th St. Street between _W McCart_ and West Side city park. Complete with sidewalks, curb and gutter and drainage. The estimated quantities specified herein are not guaranteed of actual quantities and the City does not guarantee any quantity of materials to be purchased during the term of the contract. Street paving will occur as determined by contractor and City of Krum's designated official. Bidder will coordinate paving schedule with the city prior to commencement of paving work. Steps required for repair: Please list prices for each item in bid form. (or feel free to add your own pricing form) 1. Demolition: Existing asphalt or concrete surfaces must be removed and deposed of old asphalt pavement may be reclaimed. 2. Grading and sloping: Once clear, it is graded and sloped for proper water drainage and flow. 3. Subbase: If the ground is not properly stabilized prior to paving, subbase material must be installed to provide a stable surface able to support the pavement above. The thickness and level of compaction of the base must support the street and traffic load. 4. Concrete application: 6'' thick / 30' wide at a 2% slope from center, complete with curb and gutters, and 4- foot sidewalks on both sides of street Concrete street, 30 feet wide, curd and gutters, sidewalks 5 feet wide on both sides of street. o All driveway approaches will be approximately 15' wide. (exceptions may apply) culverts may need to be installed and or replaced for proper drainage o All drainage that requires culverts and other means will need to be included to prevent standing water and flooding. (please include drainage in bid) CONTRACT TERM: The Contract Term shall commence and be binding on the date of award by City Council and shall expire upon completion of Section 5.01, (a) or September 30, 2025, whichever shall come first.
