a. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings and specified herein. b. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may not be specifically mentioned. c. General Description of Work: (1) Project consists of construction of a new 13,490 square foot addition to the Research Commons Thermal Plant. (2) Demolition shall consist of, but not limited to, site clearing and demolition of paving, utilities, infrastructure, and obstructions, as required to complete the work. (3) Civil work shall consist of, but not limited to, earthwork, exterior improvements, utilities, as required to complete the work. (4) Architectural work shall consist of, but not limited to, building panels, masonry façade and wall, doors, windows, louvers, thermal and moisture protection, openings, specialties, and furnishings, as required to complete the work. (5) Structural work shall consist of, but not limited to, drilled piers, concrete, steel, masonry, and metals, as required to complete the work. (6) Mechanical work shall consist of, but not limited to cooling towers, pumps, HVAC equipment, plumbing, piping, ductwork, insulation, fire suppression, and utilities, as required to complete the work. (7) Electrical work shall consist of, but not limited to motor controllers, transformers, distribution panels, grounding, lightning protection, power, controls, instrumentation, communications, raceways, cables, access control, fire detection, and utilities, as required to complete the work. CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATE: $7,439,580 - $8,266,200 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
