Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to extend the solicitation end date to 21 January 2024 to allow time for questions recieved to be answered and posted. All else remains unchanged. Attachments: Attachment 1 - Performance Work Statement (PWS) Attachment 2 - Provisions and Clauses Attachment 3 - Wage Determination Attachment 4 - Combo Attachment 5 - MAFR Environmental Guide This requirement is for the purchase of a Well repair service at Melrose Air Force Range (MAFR), New Mexico. - Pull 400' of 6" steel well piping - Replace 40 hp submersible pump - Reinstall 400' of HDPE along with new electrical wire and reseal well head The contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, qualifications and other items and services necessary to restore Well #3502 to full and safe operations at Melrose Air Force Range (MAFR), New Mexico. Well #3502. The contractor shall remove old inoperable well pump, bail the well column and install a new 20 Horsepower (HP) submersible well pump and attach it to existing high density polyethylene (HDPE) piping to predetermined optimal depth. The well casing for well #3502 is approximately 400 feet in depth. Once the new well pump is installed, the contractor shall conduct a well test in accordance with (IAW) industry well testing and developmental standards. Existing well specifications: Pump Model - Peerless Submersible 4 Stage 8lb 20 horsepower (HP) 4" Franklin Motor, 3 phase, 480 volts, continuous duty rating - Gallons per Minute (GPM): 300; Well Depth: 400 Feet; Diameter: 4" X 387'; Column Pipe: 16" X 360'; Head: 400 Feet.
