Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Conyers, Georgia. Working plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of August 19, 2025, the project is in design. A design/build contractor has been selected. Construction will begin in the fourth quarter of 2025 and will conclude in the third quarter of 2026. The Rockdale County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed proposals to furnish all labor, material, and equipment for the Design-Build of Fire Training Center for Rockdale County. Any questions and/or misunderstandings that may arise from this RFP must be submitted in writing to Adrienne Brown at Adrienne.m.brown@rockdalecountyga.gov or to the Department of Finance at the address below. Submit questions and/or requests for clarifications regarding this RFP no later than 2:00 P.M., local time, Thursday, January 9, 2025. Written responses will be issued in an addendum. This RFP qualifies for Rockdale County Government EBO program. For questions regarding the EBO program, please contact Stacey Bonner Lewis at stacey.lewis@rockdalecountyga.gov or 770-278-7543. A 5% Bid Bond will be required. A Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of 100% will be required from the awarded vendor. Rockdale County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
