Renovation of an educational facility in Peterborough, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Fleming College is seeking quotations from experienced Elevator Constructors/Mechanics interested in providing all research, engineering, and site work required for the repair, and selective replacement of the existing C-wing hydraulic passenger elevator at the Sutherland campus in Peterborough, Ontario. This elevator is used for transporting personnel, cleaning equipment, pump trucks with food and other packages, and also occupants with mobility needs through the school. It is the central connecting elevator for all spaces within the Sutherland campus. There is currently a surveillance camera and emergency phone line in the elevator. Environmental controls do not exist currently, and will need to be added in the elevator cab and the control room. There is currently no connection from either the elevator or control room to a building monitoring system, and this feature does not need to be added at this time, however provisions for future connection to a building monitoring system will be considered. This event shall include provisions for a temporary stair lift, location(s) to be specified at site visit. The purpose of this project is to: - Deliver the College an upgraded elevator by replacing all obsolete components. - Managing the elevating system upgrade through to completion.
