This Request for Proposal ("RFP") is an open invitation by DeafBlind Ontario Services (DBOS) to prospective proponents to submit proposals from qualified General Contractors. The Request for Proposal is for the re development to a 3 bedroom fully accessible sprinklered detached B3 home for individuals with deafblindness, located at 711 Crowley Crescent, Peterborough, Ontario. DeafBlind Ontario Services is a not for profit charitable organization, who provides an array of services to people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, non-verbal and deafblind that are customized to each individual's unique needs, method of communication, and goals to enrich their life. We are looking to provide a safe and comfortable living environment. . This project will provide space for three individuals. The successful bid will follow the design specifications as provided in the attachments. The schedule will be carefully considered in the review of the proposals. DeafBlind Ontario Services is considered a Broader Public Sector (BPS) organization and therefore must ensure its procurement practices are in compliance with the Broader Public Sector Procurement Directive (BPSPD). This project is on a very tight timeline, that will need to be adhered to by the successful proponent. Due to the timelines, we have provided drawings based from the Architect and Engineers.
