Bids shall be submitted on or before the specified closing time in an opaque sealed envelope marked "Bid #2025-19A" Huntley Community School District 158 aEUR" 2025 Pavement Improvements" on the outside and addressed to: Kevin Lindquist,A Director of Operation & Maintenance of Huntley Community School District No. 158, Administrative Office, 650 Dr. JohnA Burkey Drive, Algonquin, Illinois 60102. Make proposals on the bid forms supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic proposals orA modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidder bond payable to HuntleyA Community School District 158 in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will beA required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. Bids received after stated time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. All bids submitted shall be valid for a period of at least (60) sixty days from the date of bid opening. The only alterations, which may be allowed,A will be those approved by the Board of Education. No immediate decision shall be rendered concerning the bids submitted at time of opening. The Bidder shall be actively engaged in procurement of the materials the School District is presently bidding here-in. All bidders shall have adequate resources to deliver the specified products on-time and per specifications. This project consists of the asphalt resurfacing of pavements at the Huntley School District's Square Barn Road Campus in the Village of Algonquin, and at the Harmony Road Campus in the Village of Huntley, as shown on the location map and in the project plans. Base Bid consists of the rehabilitation of pavement at Huntley High School as shown in the plans. The work shall include, but not limited to, hot-mix asphalt surface removal, hot-mix asphalt binder course, hotmix asphalt surface course, pavement striping and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as described herein. Alternate Bid(s) consists of the rehabilitation of pavement and sidewalk replacement work at the District 158 Administration Building as shown in the plans. The work shall include, but not limited to, hot-mix asphalt surface removal, hot-mix asphalt binder course, hot-mix asphalt surface course, sidewalk replacement, pavement striping and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as described herein.
