Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: pavement removal; preparation of base; aggregate subgrade improvements; aggregate base repair, mass earthwork; large diameter storm sewer improvements; StormTrap system; curb and gutter, and sidewalk removal and replacement; hot-mix asphalt binder and surface course(s); parkway restoration; native plantings; and other appurtenant work for a total distance of 2.30 miles on Pauline Avenue, Raphael Avenue, Carman Avenue, Lilac Lane, and Armstrong Court in the Village of Buffalo Grove and on Celia Avenue, Margaret Avenue, Eugene Avenue, Clarice Avenue, Horatio Boulevard, Elizabeth Avenue, William Avenue, and Florence Avenue in Vernon Township. State of Illinois, Department of Transportation, Contractor Pre-Qualification and Subcontractor Pre-Qualification/Registration is required. The undersigned agrees to complete the work within working days or by 10/31/25 Bid open description: Sealed proposals will be opened and read publicly at the office of Name of Office a live, online meeting hosted by the Village https://rb.gy/tbdmus. This work shall consist of placing cement mortar along precast, prestressed concrete bridge deck beams as required for fairing out any unevenness between adjacent deck beams prior to placing of waterproofing membrane and surfacing." This work shall consist of filling voids beneath rigid and composite pavements with cement grout. This work shall consist of furnishing, installing, maintaining, relocating for various states of construction and eventually removing temporary informational signs. Included in this item may be ground mount signs, skid mount signs, truss mount signs, bridge mount signs, and overlay sign panels which cover portions of existing signs. The provisions of Article 104.02 of the Standard Specifications are hereby amended as follows: "The Village of Buffalo Grove (Village) expressly reserves the right to remove from or add to the project any portions thereof included in the 2025 Northwood Street and Utility Improvements. Such reductions or additions, if any, shall be made in writing by the Village prior to execution of the Contract Documents. Any reduction in the scope of work required by the Village prior to the execution of the Contract Documents shall not result in an adjustment to the contract or to the price originally bid."
