Reference Number 0000371277 Job Location: 4175 Castleton Court Castle Rock, Colorado United States 80109 The work to be performed under this contract includes rehabilitation of six bridge decks within Castle Rock. Rehabilitation work for N. Meadows Drive over Hwy 85 Bridge (Five Decks) and Plum Creek Parkway over UPRR (One Deck) includes: N. Meadows - sweeping/cleaning of bridge decks including the access ramp bridge decks, expansion joint cleaning, deck waterproofing, saw & seal of expansion joints, installation of detectible warnings and pinned curb. Plum Creek Parkway - repair of thin bonded epoxy overlay, saw & seal of expansion joints. It is required that all work on the N. Meadows Drive over Hwy 85 Bridge and all access Ramps be performed at night. Contractor will be required to coordinate construction activities with trash removal companies, school district, HOA, Railroads, and Metro Districts if applicable. The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with these specifications. Contractor is responsible for obtaining all required permits to perform the work, see General Notes sheet 3 of the Construction Plans ( Appendix A). The Contractor shall commence work no later than the date indicated on the Notice to Proceed. If "Construction Completion" is not issued within the allotted contract time for the original scope of work, "Liquidated Damages" shall be assessed. When contract work is complete, the contractor shall commence work on punchlist items, cleanup, and demobilizing regardless of contract time remaining. Work is anticipated to start by July 6, 2025, or when weather is favorable. Rehabilitation work for N. Meadows Drive over Highway 85 Bridge and all access ramps shall be completed by August 8, 2025. A schedule of sequencing of all work shall be submitted at or before the project pre-construction meeting, and approved by the Town prior to issuance of Notice to Proceed. Completion of Work: The contractor shall commence work no later than the date indicated on the Notice to Proceed, and achieve Construction Completion (punchlist items, cleanup, and demobilize) within Thirty (30) working days. A schedule of sequencing of all work shall be submitted at or before the project pre-construction meeting, and approved by the Town prior to issuance of Notice to Proceed. Location of the Work: The location of the work to be completed under this contract is tabulated in Appendices. The Town reserves the right to revise the location of the work shown in Appendices, and the final location of the work shall be established in the field by the Project Manager.
