The District of Fort St James is inviting qualified Proponents to provide proposals for forest fuel management (fuel thinning) operations. The proposed fuel treatment area is labelled TU-2 is a mechanical treatment unit with some hand treatments for pruning and pile burning, and is 14.2 ha in size. This is a winter mechanical unit that can utilize machinery for felling, yarding, and pile creation. Operations must be conducted on frozen ground with 30 cm of snow fall.
