Bids Are for Furnishing All Work and Materials for the Construction, Complete in Place, of the 2025 Pond Maintenance Project, Consisting of the Major Work Items in the Following Approximate Quantities: 18 Each Clearing 107 L F Remove Sewer Pipe (Storm) 3655 C Y Excavation - Channel and Pond (Lv) 1260 C Y Excavation - Channel and Pond (Lv) (Special) 107 L F 8" Hdpe Pipe Sewer 29 C Y Random Riprap Class Iii (Fieldstone) 0.7 Acre Seeding 29 L B Residential Turfgrass Additional Description: No Bid Will Be Considered Unless Sealed and Filed With the City Clerk Prior to the Time Noted Above for the Closing of the Bids, and Accompanied by a Certified Check, Cash, or Bid Bond in an Amount Not Less Than Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid as a Guarantee That the Bidder, if Successful, Will Enter Into a Contract With the City to Perform the Work Described in the Proposal. This Deposit Will Be Subject to Forfeiture as Provided by Law. The Deposits for the Three Lowest Bidders Will Be Retained by the City Until the Contract Has Been Awarded and Executed but Not Longer Than Sixty (60) Days. No Bid May Be Withdrawn for a Period of Sixty (60) Days Following the Bid Opening. The City Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Informalities, or to Award the Contract to the Lowest Responsible Bidder, in the Best Interest of the City. For Bids Exceeding $50,000, the Bidder Shall Submit to the City a Signed Statement Under Oath by an Owner or Officer Verifying Compliance With Each of the Minimum Criteria in Minnesota Statutes, Section 16c.285, Subdivision 3 on the Responsible Contractor Verification Form Included With the Bid Proposal. Bids must be submitted on the Proposal Forms provided in accordance with the Contract Documents, Plans, and Specifications as prepared by WSB & Associates, Inc., 701 Xenia Avenue South, Suite 300, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55416 which are on file for inspection in the office of the City Clerk and Project Engineer. Contractors desiring drawings, specifications and related documents for the purpose of submitting a bid may also secure a digital CD set from the office of the City Engineer for a fee of $25.00 for each set. The fee will not be refunded. Mail orders for Plans and Specifications, and orders for printed paper Plans and Specifications will not be taken by the City. Bids will only be accepted from Contractors who purchase Bidding Documents as specified above.
