As of March 28, 2025, project was awarded to UrbanEdge, awarded amount is $567,849.10. Work to be performed consists of the furnishing of all materials, equipment, labor and supplies to complete the work as shown on the plans and specifications on file with the Carver County Engineers Office, Public Works Division, 11360 Highway 212, Suite 1, Cologne, MN 55322- 8016. This project includes work at a new trailhead along CSAH 10 and trail repair work on the Dakota Rail Regional Trail. Location of Work The trailhead and trail reconstruction are both located in Carver County as indicated in the plan and proposal. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond naming Carver County as oblige, certified check payable to the Carver County Treasurer or a cash deposit equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the County in the event that the bidder fails to enter into a contract. The Owner reserves the right not to award any contract, in which event the Owner and the Bidder shall be under no obligation to each other. The Carver County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interests of the County. The Carver County Board reserves the right to retain the proposal guaranty of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids will be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and times set for the opening of bids.
