The Project consists of the demolition of the existing Community Center building, and the construction of a new two-story facility of approximately 10,000 square feet. The new center shall include various amenities such as an administration office, reception area, warming kitchen, multi-purpose room, workrooms, elevator, restrooms, Information Technology (IT) room, sports equipment storage, and various security features. The project also includes landscaping and irrigation, an electrical power generator, and a parking area. During construction, a temporary facility including bathroom trailer & office container shall be provided for the City's staff. The site has known contamination, and the Contractor is required to ensure that workers are informed about safety precautions. Proper training is essential for both the Contractor and subcontractors, with a recommendation for training sessions of up to 24 hours. The Contractor must communicate site conditions and ensure that subcontractors provide necessary training and information to their workers.
