Site work and paving for a road / highway in Fountain City, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of approximately 2.5 miles of road reconstruction, pulverizing, additional base, bank removal, road relocation, paving, and guardrail installation on Canada Ridge Road. Services to be included in bid: Designing, planning and overseeing construction of the above project, including right-of-way acquisition. Work must be performed in accordance with all federal, state and local laws, rules and standards and the terms and conditions of the Local Roads Improvement Program State/Municipal Project Agreement unless an exception is granted by the state. The Town of Milton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any part thereof. Unless the bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest "responsible" and responsive bidder. Responsible bidder means a bidder that is financially responsible and has the capacity and competence to faithfully and responsibly comply with the terms of the public contract. A bid can be deemed as not "responsive" if the contractor modifies the bid from the original specifications. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
