Fountain City Community Center Renovation for a building renovation at Fountain City Community Center, located at 42 N. Main Street, Fountain City, WI Project consists of interior renovation of an approximate 8,800 square foot area, with alterations to the supporting MEP systems, the addition of an elevator, and the addition of a lift. Exterior renovations include updating of the water service and sewer service utilities, window replacement, and masonry cleaning and restoration. BID SECURITY: Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond in an amount of 5 percent of the total of the Base Bid, made payable to the Owner, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, if awarded the Contract, enter into a Contract with the Owner in accordance with the Bid submitted and the Contract Documents. TIME OF COMMENCEMENT: Work may commence on site June 30, 2025, but must start not later than July 1, 2025. TIME OF COMPLETION: Owner requires Substantial Completion of contract Work on or before September 4, 2026. BONDING REQUIREMENTS: Contractor will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount of 100 percent of Contract Amount. OWNER'S RIGHTS: Owner reserves the right to reject a Bid which is incomplete or irregular, and the right to waive informalities or irregularities in a Bid received. The contract shall be subject to the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (CWHSSA), 40 U.S.C. 3702 and 3704, and DOL (29 CFR Part 5); Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA); and fair labor practices and wage standards for the program under which the contract is funded, and subject to the federal and state equal opportunity provisions, as specified in the bid packet.
