As of October 31, 2025, owner changed project to a design-build project. Design-build team has been selected. Project is now in design. Construction expected early 2026. Completion expected June 30, 2027. Boyle County Fiscal Court is seeking a qualified Architect/Engineer for the construction of a Public Safety Building that will house the following services: Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Sheriff Department, Coroner and the Emergency Management Agency. This project will be situated on 4.55 acres of newly acquired property. To this end, the County seeks to engage a qualified architectural/engineering firm to lead the County in evaluating needs, site evaluation, create a conceptual design and prepare construction plans, and oversee the construction of a new public safety building in Danville, Boyle County Kentucky. Boyle County is located in Central Kentucky with a population of 30,000. The County, including the Sheriff and Emergency Management operates out of the historic courthouse located in downtown Danville while the Coroner and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are located in the government center outside of town. These two facilities have outlived their suitability for emergency services. Therefore, it is the County's desire to combine our first responders into one location. Boyle County Fiscal Court reserves the right to select the firm that they feel with be in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities and to reissue any request for proposals.
