The Work includes, but is not limited to, reconfiguring two (2) sets of multi-stall bathrooms with new fixtures and finishes; replacing fixtures and finishes in individual classroom and staff bathrooms; upgrading acoustical panel ceilings and light fixtures; demolishing and replacing casework and plumbing fixtures in classrooms; new floor finishes in classrooms, workrooms, and resource rooms; and new paint throughout. Demolition, Lead/Cadmium/Chromium in construction, handling of PCB ballasts/mercury lamps, cast-in-place concrete, reinforced unit masonry, structural steel framing, miscellaneous rough carpentry, architectural wood casework, joint sealants, tiling, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, resilient tile carpeting, interior painting, visual display units, chalkboards, resurfacing, panel signage, phenolic toilet compartments, toilet/bath/laundry accessories, shelter shutters, window shades, countertops, plumbing, HVAC and electrical. A bidder's bond or certified check will be required in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid.
